Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, joined by other members of the Royal Family, will attend a service to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Coronation service at Westminster Abbey, on Tuesday 4th June 2013.

Members of the Royal Family attending the service include:

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge
Prince Henry of Wales
The Duke of York and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie
The Earl and Countess of Wessex and The Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor
The Princess Royal, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, Mr and Mrs Peter Phillips, and Mr and Mrs Mike Tindall
The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester
The Duke and Duchess of Kent
Prince and Princess Michael of Kent

The service will commence at 11.00am and will be conducted by the Dean of Westminster, The Very Reverend Dr John Hall. The Archbishop of Canterbury will give the address. Readings will be given by the Prime Minister, The Rt Hon David Cameron MP, and the Secretary General of the Commonwealth, His Excellency Mr. Kamalesh Sharma. A poem by Poet Laureate, Carol Ann Duffy, which has been specially written for the anniversary, will be included in the service. The poem will be read by actress Claire Skinner.

Approximately 2,000 guests have been invited to attend the service; amongst these are church and other faith representatives, Realms High Commissioners and representatives of British Overseas Territories and the Diplomatic Corps, armed forces personnel and participants in the 1953 Coronation and guests from every county in the United Kingdom.

After the service, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh, will depart from the Great West Door, and travel by car to College Hall, Dean’s Yard, to attend a private lunch, hosted by The Dean and Chapter of Westminster.

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke of York, The Earl and Countess of Wessex and The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence will also attend this lunch.

Around 100 guests from the Abbey community will attend the lunch in College Hall, the Medieval Abbots’ Dining Hall built in the late 14th century.
